NITDA Warns on Rise of Brute-Force Attacks Targeting VPN, SSH Services

The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) committed to implementing the National Digital economy policy for digital Nigeria said that Cisco Talos has raised concerns over a rapid increase in brute-force attacks targeting various devices, including Virtual Private Network (VPN) services, web application authentication interfaces, and Secure Shell (SSH) services.

Accordingly, users are advised to take extra precautions to secure their systems and prevent unauthorised access.
