UNGA: DG NITDA holds Bilateral Talks with Sec Gen ITU on Exploring Areas of Collaboration

As part of Nigeria’s participation at the UN General Assembly (UNGA), the Director General of NITDA, Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi had a productive bilateral meeting with Doreen Bogdan-Martin, Secretary-General of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU).

The discussions centered on aligning efforts and exploring strategic areas of collaboration in capacity building, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.

Inuwa shared NITDA’s ongoing initiatives in driving Nigeria’s digital transformation and developmental regulation, emphasising the need for closer collaboration with ITU to achieve shared goals for Nigeria’s IT development.
