Two feared dead as police, IPOB members clash in Enugu

No fewer than two people are feared dead following the clash between policemen and members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, (IPOB) in Enugu State on Sunday.

There was a palpable tension in Enugu State on Sunday when policemen clashed with members of the Indigenous People of Biafra.

Gentechnews gathered that there is heightened tension in the coal city as an eyewitness said two persons died in the clash, many members of the IPOB were also injured, while over 10 IPOB members were arrested.

Efforts made to reach the state Commissioner of Police, Ahmad Abdurraham and  Enugu Police Public Relations Officer, Daniel Ndukwe, were not successful at the time of filling this report.
