Kwara 2023: Saliu Mustapha will Score 75% Votes –Okada, Tricycle Riders

Members of Motor Cycle and Tricycle Riders Associations in Kwara Central Senatorial District have expressed confidence that the Senatorial Candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Mallam Saliu Mustapha will score at least, 75 per cent of the total votes to be cast in the 2023 general election.

Representatives of the two associations, Abdulganiyu Ladan (Okada) and Prince Omotosho Shuaib (Tricycle), asserted that last Thursday at a rally for his endorsement organized by Civil Society Organizations under the umbrella of Razaq Kolade Olokoba (RKO) Political Network Groups which took place at Hall B of the prestigious Kwara Hotel, Ilorin, capital city of the state.

Convener and Leader of the group, Comrade Razaq Olokoba has, in his opening speech on the occasion said the event was aimed at galvanizing support for the senatorial candidate, Mallam Saliu Mustapha, saying his pedigree and antecedent are convincing enough that “the senatorial cap fits him and he will deliver the good to his people in the district in particular, the State as a whole and Nigeria at large.”

According to him, Mallam Saliu Mustapha is not new to service to humanity as a renowned philanthropist, a politician of note and competent administrator with special acumen who has cut his teeth in politics and paid his dues economically, believing that, with his good relationship with the people across board, greater percentage of the votes in his central district is sure for him.

In their own good will message at the event, Ladan and Shuaib unanimously agreed that, Mustapha’s indiscriminate good gesture to the people, known and unknown, who come across him will testify that, he deserves their votes and thus would give him their mandate with at least 75 per cent of their votes.

“This is the period we will have the opportunity to reciprocate Saliu Mustapha’s philanthropist gesture. Mustapha deserves a pay back and we will not disappoint him now that he has come around to ask for our assistance. We have been expecting this period for a while to reciprocate the good deeds he has been relentlessly extending to the communities around him,” the duo declared.

The event was seized as an opportunity to extend support to other APC candidates across board namely; the Senatorial Candidate for the Kwara Central District, Mallam Saliu Mustapha, the incumbent Governor, Alhaji AbdurRahman AbdurRazaq and the presidential candidate of the party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The renowned philanthropist/politician, Mallam Saliu Mustapha has emerged the Kwara Central Senatorial District senatorial candidate on the ticket of the APC for the next year, 2023 general election.

Other groups in the coalition with the Razaq Kolade Olokoba (RKO), political Network Groups, were; the Kwara Central Volunteers for Saliu Mustapha Senatorial ambition and Coalition of several other Civil Society Groups among others.

In fact, the list of dignitaries at the event is inexhaustible. However, it will suffice to mention some of them. They are; Director-General (DG), Saliu Mustapha Foundation, Adebayo Ambali, Alhaji Mahmud Turawa (APC senatorial Chairman Kwara Central District), Alhaja Tawa Agaka (APC Senatorial woman leader Kwara Central),Comrade Habeeb lawal (Ilorin East APC Party chairman), Mallam Sheu Yahaya (Asa LG APC party Chairman), Mallam Jaji: (Ilorin South APC party Chairman), Mallam Sulyman Tejidini (Ilorin West APC party Chairman) and Abdullahi Baba Gobir (APC Gambari ward 2) who also doubles as Chairman of chairmen throughout of Kwara state.

Also in attendance were;  Representative of Tricycle Riders Prince Omotosho Shuaib, Representative Okada Rider, Abdulganiyu Ladan, Artian representative, Abdur-Razaq Saheed, Representative of Ojagboro Youth Development Association, Usman Sulaieman, representative of Balogun Gambari Development Association, Wasiu Adebayo, representative of Ilorin Development Progressive Union (IDPU), Mallam Imam Abdulraheem and Babapupa AbdulLateef who represented the students as well as Mrs Abiodun, who represented the People Living with Disability.

They included but not limited to Mallam Nasiru Ubaidu representative of Hausa Community, Gambari branch in Ilorin East Local Government, Ajose Wa Okada Riders Association Ilorin East led by Mallam Yusuf Alabi, Iyaloja General, Alhaja Sidikat Akaje while the Igbo Community was led by Mazi Emeka Emmanuel and Eze Ndubisi.
