NCC redeploys 4 directors, Adinde takes over from Nkemadu @DPA

Soon after the reappointment of Executive Vice Chairman, Prof. Umar Garba Danbatta by the President, General Muhammadu Buhari, retired, the leadership of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) redeployed four directors.

GenTechNews gathered from the Commission source some reasons for their redeployment.

The source affirmed that the redeployment became necessary to achieve the latest mandate of the NCC, especially as aligned by the Strategic Management Plan (SMP) launched a few days ago, while the four directors resumed their latest duty post with immediate effect.

Accordingly, the former Administrator of the Digital Bridge Institute (DBI) and immediate past Consumer Bureau of the Commission, Dr. Ikechukwu Adinde takes over at the Department of Public Affairs while the former director, Dr. Henry Nkemadu would be heading the Research and Development Department.

The Director, Compliance Monitoring and Enforcement (CME), Mr Efosa Idehen, would now lead the Consumer Affairs Bureau (CAB) department, while former Director, Research and Development (R&D), Mr Ephraim Nwokonneya, now head the Compliance Monitoring and Enforcement department.
