Abiodun commissions four projects in Ogun LGA
The Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has commissioned four projects in Odeda Local Government Area of Ogun State to advance the socioeconomic growth of the people at the grassroots level.
Abiodun said the projects were aimed at boosting the economy and security around Odeda as it shared boundary with Oyo State.
The governor, represented by the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Afolabi Afuape, disclosed that the 40 open stalls at Gbonnagun market, Obantoko, 16 lock-up shops at the Osiele market and 20 open stalls at Kila market were built to complement the existing stalls and aid the traders reduce stress and risks connected with selling by the roadside.
He added that the re-constructed police post at Bakatari would help reduce security threats around the area.
He posited that the local governments were to complement the efforts of the state government in the delivery of dividends of democracy to the people and assured that all the 20 LGAs would have more projects by the time his administration would be rounding off.
