Firm unveils residential estate in Lekki
In the quest to boost housing stock in Lagos, a real estate development firm, Dayola Property and Development Company, has unveiled a residential estate in Lekki, known as Beaufort.

According to a statement issued recently by the company, the project is in partnership with investment company, Coop East, and financed by FirstTrust Mortgage Bank Plc.
The Dayola Property and Development Company, Managing Director, Dayo Olaiya, said the residential estate was built for investors and home buyers interested in the Lagos Island metropolis, stressing that the project would add value to the investors and the neighbourhood.
Olaiya added that the company had plans to construct the road leading to the estate.
The President of Coop East, Hyginus Onuegbu, announced that the company was investing N1.5bn in Beaufort Park, adding that he was convinced the project would give back value.
Onuegbu posited that property market was the most valuable in Nigeria and one of the most valuable in Africa, adding that Lagos was the best place to do business.
Onuegbu disclosed that based on this information they decided that they must be a major player in the market; hence they opened an office in Lagos in 2018.
