Allen Onyema a true nationalist, says Dr. Mike Uyi

The chairman, Chief Executive Officer of Air Peace Nigeria, Chief Allen Onyema has been described as a true nationalist for fulfilling his promise to the Super Eagles by giving them a sum of N20 million for winning their match against the Blue Sharks of Cape Verde on Tuesday.

Dr. Mike Uyi, President General, Global Peace Movement International UK made this remark in a press release issued on Thursday by the media officer of the group, Augustine Aminu (KSM) in Abuja.

Dr Uyi said, Nigerians all over the world should emulate Chief Allen Onyema’s demonstration of love and patriotism towards the nation.

“Let us tolerant with each other and exhibits patriotism to foster unity and peaceful co-existence in the country,” he said.

He stressed that with tolerance and patriotism, Nigeria will certainly come out of the current security, economic and political challenges facing the nation.

“With tolerance, you can achieve a lot.

Allen Onyema’s love is a model to emulate, let us have a nation that does not define anyone by religion or ethnicity and GPMI believes we can all achieve success”, Uyi said.

“Most of our problems are not deeply rooted. It is sometimes partisanship that is used to amplify it, this is how some of these issues are translated into blood shade, and this is unacceptable.

“When you have people in thousands like Allen Onyema coming from different parts of the country seeking peaceful coexistence, that will help and we will begin to build ourselves for good,” he emphasized.

Dr. Uyi charged Nigerians to eschew partisanship and join hands with one another to move the country forward.
