Aviation Minister, Hadi Sirika, visits Caverton Helicopters, inspects facilities
Minister of Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika carried out facility tour of the Caverton Helicopters limited on Friday.
The visit accorded the minister, the opportunity to inspect the Company’s Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul facility (MRO) as well as inspected the Flight Simulator Training Facility which are both under construction.
Gentechnews gathered that Caverton MRO and Helicopter Simulator Training center is the only such facility in Africa and so is beneficial to Nigerians especially to the technical market.
The facility will help in building capacity for the industry, provide employment for Nigerians as well as save a lot for the country in foreign exchange.
Sirika also inspected the Taxiway which is under construction together with other dignitaries from NCAA and FAAN.
The minister returned to Abuja shortly after these inspections.
