Dr. Feyisayo Soyewo Wins Lifetime Achievement Award
The Chairman, Prestige Insurance Brokers Limited and Former President, Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB) Dr. Feyisayo Soyewo, has won the Achievers magazine, lifetime achievement award.
The award was conferred on Dr. Soyewo on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Asiwaju Court, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State.
In his acceptance speech, Dr. Soyewo, appreciated the publisher of the Magazine, Yomi Ogunsanu for considering him eligible for the award after his two respected elders: Senator Dr. Jubril Martins Kuye OFR (of blessed memory) and Major-General Dr. S. A. Awosanya Rtd (Baba Oba of Ago-Iwoye), had won the award in the past.
“I humbly accept this Award believing it will encourage me into doing greater thing that will excite my well wishers and the good people that God surrounded me with. I dedicate this Award to all the good people who kept encouraging me daily for greater achievements.
“My message on this occasion to all of you good people at this award ceremony is for you and me to look for ways to be good to people at all time,” he emphasized.
According to him, being good to people is better than preaching sermon and that being kind, generous, compassionate, speaks much louder than any words.
He posited that we should have a goal every day to do at least one good thing for somebody and we don’t have to wait for a special occasion, stressing that it doesn’t have to be Christmas, birthday, wedding anniversary, but just an ordinary day.
“But you can be good to the people God put in your life. You need to study them. Listen to what they are saying and be sensitive to their needs,” Soyewo said.
He expressed his appreciation to Kabiyesi the Ebumawe of Ago-Iwoye, Oba Adesina Adenugba as well as Kabiyesi the Alaporu of Ilaporu, Oba Jimoh Quadri for their support always and for their esteem presence at the event.
He also applauded the Baba Oba of Ago-Iwoye Major General S. A. Awosanya (rtd) for accepting to chair the event.
“I recall that he graciously chaired my 60th birthday celebration as well as my 70th birthday celebration at this same venue. I am most grateful for your love and kind gestures.
“I thank my wife Olori Abiodun for her love and deep commitment to sustaining our marriage,” Soyewo said.
