DSS operatives produce proscribed IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu in court

The operatives of the Department of State Service (DSS), on Tuesday, produced the Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu before Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court, Abuja.

Kanu, who was brought to the Federal High Court in Abuja amidst tight security at about 1:40 pm for the continuation of his trial on charges bordering on terrorism, treasonable felony, unlawful possession of firearms and management of an unlawful society.
However, Justice Nyako has ordered his detention in the DSS facility pending the commencement of his trial.
The Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mr. Abubakar Malami(SAN), had earlier disclosed to journalists on Tuesday that the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu was arrested and brought back to Nigeria on Sunday following a collaborative effort between security agencies in Nigeria and Interpol.
