Editor Gentechnews, Anthony Nwakaegho Emerges 2nd Prize Winner of the Online Category of 2025 Edition of MAN Media Personality of the Year Award

The Founder and Editor of Gentechnews, Mr Anthony Nwakaegho has been declared as the second prize winner of the Online category of Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) 2025 Edition of the MAN Media Personality of the Year Award at the 10th edition/ 2026 MAN Media Personality of the Year Award/Presidential Media Luncheon Held On Wednesday January 28, 2026 At Man House, 77 Obafemi Awolowo Way, Ikeja, Lagos.
Recall that Gentechnews also won the second prize winner of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) Reporter of the year 2023 Online Award. It won the second prize of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) Reporter of the year 2024 Online Award and won the 2nd Prize of the maiden edition of the Online Category of 2025 Edition of MAN Media Personality of the Year Award.
Nwakaegho in his remarks commended the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) for its collaboration with the media in its advocacy role which has contributed to some of the successes the association has achieved in the real sector of the economy in Nigeria for over five decades.
His remark is coming on the heels of the address and commendation made by the President of MAN, Otunba Francis Meshioye in his address at the 10th edition/ 2026 MAN Media Personality of the Year Award/Presidential Media Luncheon Held On Wednesday January 28, 2026 At Man House, 77 Obafemi Awolowo Way, Ikeja, Lagos.
Meshioye stated that this year’s edition of the MAN Media Personality of the Year Award and the Presidential Media Luncheon marks its 10th anniversary, adding that a decade ago, this initiative was conceived to strengthen collaboration between the media and the Association, while creating a platform to celebrate impactful journalism.
“You have been a driving force in the attainment of our goals; amplifying our advocacy, interrogating our policies, challenging our assumptions, and giving visibility to the realities of Nigerian manufacturers,” President of MAN added.
The Editor of Gentechnews stated that the institution and the sustenance of the annual award specially to appreciate the dedicated efforts of the mass media in promoting the activities of the real sector is a boost for the journalists to work harder in their reportage of the programme and activities of the real sector.
He urged the association to strengthen their collaboration with the media by carrying them along in all their programmes and events in order to get good reportage for their advocacy in the promotion and development of the manufacturing sector in Nigeria.
