El-Rufai ranks Pantami high on ministerial performance

The Executive Governor of Kaduna State, Governor Nasir El-Rufai has presented a score card and described the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami as a top performer in the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Gov El-Rufai made this assertion recently in his address during the Kaduna State Kashim Ibrahim Fellowship Speaker Series Session.

The Governor said, “If you will list 2 or 3 performing Ministers in this administration, the Minister, Dr Pantami is at the top.

“He took a Ministry that was sleeping and upgraded it to a 21st century Ministry”.

The Minister, Pantami during his interactive session as a guest speaker, harped on the importance of mentorship, stressing that, “mentorship is very important, your mentor helps you to see what you cannot see in your own vision”, adding “always try to be a lifetime student”.

According to the Minister, for a society to be successful, there is a need to focus more on mentorship for the younger generation.

He highlighted the importance of reading, adding that, wise and successful people always read, reflect and experiment.

He then cited an example with the former President of the United States of America, Mr Barack Obama, who always took at least one hour in a day to read.
