Indication has emerged that a massive sack may be looming in the nation’s aviation industry following the removal of the Acting Managing Director of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency, (NAMA), Mr Mathew Pwajok.
Pwajok’s removal emerged a few days after the removal of some top officials in the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).
Gentechnews gathered from an industry source that Pwajok has been replaced by the Director of Aerodrome and Airspace Standards (DAAS), Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), Engr. Tayib Adetunji Odunowo.
He was appointed in acting capacity in February 2022 and had since exceeded the six months acting stewardship of the agency.
Minister of Aviation appointments of a new Director General, Managing Directors or Directors with barely ten days to the eve of the new administration is creating misgiving, bearing in mind that the incoming administration may make its own appointments.
