GTCO Food & Drink Festival dazzles kids, families, vendors, others
Guaranty Trust Holding Company has added a unique touch to the maiden edition of GTCO Food and Drink, the Holiday Edition. The event which commenced on December, 20 and 21st, witnessed so far participants enjoying an immersive children’s play Arena with games and activities, access to over 213 food vendor stalls, street food hubs, and live entertainment, all designed to be a family-friendly, festive experience at the GTCentre in Oniru, Lagos.
At the centre, a Christmas Village offered handcrafted gifts and seasonal treats, while the Street Food Hub will be showcasing diverse Nigerian street cuisine for all ages.
For over nine years, GTCO has continued to give creative support to SMEs and this year, is calculatedly extended families.
The leadership of the company has assured that the children’s play area would be safe and immersive.
Speaking on the event, Segun Agbaje, Group Chief Executive Officer, GTCO, noted that the event would be held at GT centre, Oniru, Lagos, adding that this maiden edition builds on the success of the annual food vendor.
“The GTCO Food and Drink Festival has grown into a powerful platform for celebrating enterprise, creativity and the richness of African cuisine. This 2025 Holiday Edition is a special end-of-year celebration. The target is to host families with an expanded play zone, support SMEs across the food and beverage value chain,” Agbaje added.
He also disclosed that this year’s booth has doubled the usual number.
“We had almost 4000 applications but unfortunately the space can only take 213 booths realistically. We would also have all manner of good. We would be having street foods too. Like we have always done, when it comes to CSR, profitability does not come to play at all,” he added.
