International Women’s Day: NCC Advocates for Gender Inclusivity, Equal Opportunities in Telecom, ICT Industry

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has celebrated Nigerian women in commemoration of this year’s International Women’s Day at the NCC Headquarters in Abuja.

In his address, Dr. Aminu Maida, the EVC/CEO of NCC, restated the organization’s dedication to creating a diverse and inclusive work environment as well as advocated for gender inclusivity and equal opportunities in the telecom and Information and Communications Technology (ICT) industry.
Dr Maida highlighted the importance of empowering and including women, noting their significant contributions to the workforce.
EVC NCC urged the government, corporate Nigeria, and the telecom and Information and Communications Technology (ICT) industry to collaborate with NCC in establishing an ecosystem that supports the development and utilization of women’s talents and skills.
He harped on the need to providing equal opportunities for women to progress and succeed in these fields.
