Militants blow up Agip Oil Facility in Rivers
- Threaten more attacks except demands are met.
Following the expiration of the 24-hour ultimatum earlier issued by the Militants to the Agip Oil Company, another militant group with the code-name “Bayan-Men” in Rivers State on Tuesday night attacked yet another oil facility belonging to the Nigeria Agip Oil Company (NAOC) located at Obosi area of Omoku,/Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area of the state.
The Militants are asking that their demands must be met by the oil Company for peace to reign in the area.
It was gathered that from a source at the scene of the incident that the fire that Agip was still battling to put it out the fire from last week’s attack on the Company’s facility.
