NAF seeks NCAT’s support in training of Airforce Pilots to obtain Commercial Pilot License

The Commander, Presidential Air Fleet (PAF) Air Vice Marshall O.O Oyesola and Rector/Chief Executive Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT), Zaria, Dr Danjuma A Ismaila during the visit of the team of top Air Force officers to NCAT, Zaria.

The commander, Presidential Air Fleet (PAF) Air Vice Marshall O.O Oyesola has sought the support of Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT),  Zaria on  training of  Airforce pilots to obtain Commercial Pilot License (CPL) to be able to operate military civil aircraft.

A statement by the management of the foremost aviation training organisation said that Oyesola made the request when he led a team of Senior Airforce Officers on a working visit to the Rector/CE NCAT, Dr, Danjuma A. Ismaila.

The commander who appreciated the management of NCAT for he smooth and mutually beneficial relationship established over the years, particularly sought NCAT’s continued support in the expeditious training of Airforce pilots to also obtain Commercial Pilot License (CPL) to operate military civil aircraft.

In his response, the Rector, Ismaila reassured the Nigerian Airforce of NCAT’s commitment to providing the aviation industry with the needed human capacity, expertise and professionalism across the civil and military aviation sectors.

Ismaila also encouraged more military pilots to consider a post retirement training opportunities available in obtaining commercial pilot license and civil aviation management skills.
