NCC enlightens Corp Members in Nassarawa State on Dynamics of Data Management

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) in line with its sensitization programme visited the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members with the aim of enlightening them with essential knowledge on managing their data usage effectively, among others.

The sensitization programme which held in Nasarrawa State, also addressed the rampant issue of data depletion among youth serving their nation through the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.

The NCC used the occasion to highlight on the rampant issue of data depletion among youth serving the nation through the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program and harped on the importance of adopting prudent data management practices to prevent unexpected data exhaustion.

The representatives from the NCC proffered the Corpers with practical steps and techniques of conserving data, optimizing app settings, utilizing Wi-Fi networks, significance of understanding data plans, monitoring usage patterns, as well as identifying data-hungry applications to ensure efficient data usage throughout the duration of their one-year service programme.

The NCC through this initiative aims to empower Youth Corpers with the knowledge and necessary tools to navigate the digital landscape responsibly while maximizing the benefits of connectivity during their service tenure.

The Commission also uses this initiative to promote digital literacy, empowering the Nigerian youths with the knowledge of emerging technologies, culture of digital literacy, among others.
