Nigerian Startup, Shahshap, has emerged as the Global Best in Mobility and Smart Cities Innovator Category at Supernova Challenge Pitch Competition in Dubai, UAE at the GITEX 2022.
ShapShap is a provider of white label APPs to Small Medium Enterprises, (SMEs) for aggregating, optimizing, and allocating last-mile jobs to gig workers to ensure their sustainability and scalability as well as the best on-demand delivery service in Nigeria for online ordering and same-day delivery of food, groceries, medicines, and packages using a mobile application.
ShapShap won in the Mobility & Smart Cities Innovator category. The startup defeated Datoms (India) to win the cash prize of $8,000.
ShapShap alongside FLOEWS have qualified for the final of the Supernova Challenge Pitch Competition Monday.
The Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Prof. Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami commended the winners for exhibiting the strength, determination and limitless imagination of African startups.
Pantami assured ShapShap and the entire Nigerian startup community of government’s continuous support.
The Supernova Challenge is the biggest pitch competition in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia, where Startups have opportunity to become the next unicorn.
