NIMC bags BPSR, ICPC awards
- Awards based on website excellence, transparency, accountability
The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) has been ranked 1st (First) in the 2019/2020 Federal Government Bureau of Public Service Reforms (BPSR) scorecard for ranking websites of Ministries, Departments and Agencies, (MDAs).
The Director General/CEO NIMC, Engr. Aliyu A. Aziz, while receiving the award, commended the organizing committee of BPSR, and assured of the Commission’s commitment towards delivering its mandate under the supervision of the Minister of Communication and Digital Economy, Dr. Ali Isa Ibrahim Pantami.
It will be recalled that the Commission recently achieved another feat by ranking 3rd (Third) in the Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) Transparency and Accountability index of 55 Federal Government of Nigeria regulatory agencies.
Engr. Aziz dedicated both awards to Staff, stressing that the unrelenting dedication and hard work of Staff made the achievements possible.
The DG NIMC pledged that the Commission will continue to strive to keep up the good performance rankings while fulfilling its mandates, and looks forward to surpassing this year’s accomplishments in the coming years.
