NITDA pledges collaboration with stakeholders to strengthen cybersecurity, enhance digital trust of Nigerians
In its continuous effort towards promoting data privacy culture in the country, the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), participated at the Policy Dialogue on the Nigeria Data Protection Act (2023) organised by Nigeria Data Protection Commission in collaboration with GIZ and European Union.
While making his goodwill message, the Director General of NITDA, Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, who was represented by the Agency’s Ag. Director, Standards, Guidelines and Framework Department, Barrister Emmanuel Edet emphasised the importance and enormity of data protection and privacy to the advancement of the nation’s economy.
He pledged the Agency’s commitment to embracing collaborations with relevant stakeholders that would strengthen cybersecurity and enhance the digital trust of Nigerians.
