OPIC boss unveils Ogun plans for more housing projects
The Managing Director of Ogun State Property and Investment Corporation, (OPIC)Abiodun Fari-Arole, has announced that the newly inaugurated Kings Court estate will be replicated in other parts of the state to accommodate more subscribers.
Fari-Arole was quote in a statement by the OPIC Press Officer, Mrs. Olabisi Adegbite, shortly after the inauguration of the estate by the President, Muhammadu Buhari that the proposed housing projects would be constructed in semi-detached apartments similar to those constructed in Agbara and New Makun City to make it affordable to the people.
The OPIC boss explained that the newly built estate was one of the landmark projects of the Prince Dapo Abiodun-led administration which is meant to serve as a springboard towards more economic growth and development.
He called on the people to cooperate and support the governor in his ‘Building Our Future Together’ agenda.
Director of Marketing and Business Development, OPIC, Mr. Dehinde Boy, while presenting the keys to some beneficiaries, advised them to live in peace and harmony with one another as well as ensure proper upkeep of the estate to maintain its standard.
Dr. Femi Shodipo, while speaking on behalf of other beneficiaries noted that the process of eligibility was highly transparent, commendable and devoid of nepotism and appealed to the State government to embark on more of such projects.
