Police arrests suspect paid N2m to kill 20-year-old female student for ritual in Lagos
The Police in Lagos has arrested the boyfriend of a 20-year-old student, Toluwalase Kembi who was killed by him after he was paid N2million to use her for ritual in Lagos.
Toluwalase Kembi said to be a 20-year-old Business Administration student of the Federal polytechnic, Ilaro, Ogun State.
It was gathered that the deceased who was declared missing few weeks ago, had gone to cook for one Owolabi Yusuf who claimed to be an Alfa.
Kembi, however, was said to be engaged to another man, and unknown to her, Yusuf had been paid N2million to kill her for ritual.
She was eventually killed by the man she was seeing in the Ikorodu area of Lagos state.
The police arrested the suspect in Ilorin, Kwara State after the student was declared missing in August 2020, and the police tracked the deceased’s phone to a man who revealed that he bought it from him (Yusuf).
The suspect who is now in custody of Elere Police Division, Agege is said to have confessed to the crime, adding that he killed her using a pestle with the help of three others currently at large.
He revealed that they subsequently cut her into small pieces for ritual purposes.
