Zinox Group Engages ICT Media Entrepreneurs, Online Publishers with Social Media Training

Zinox Group, a leading ICT solutions provider in Africa, specializing in computer production, renewable energy, home appliances and devices, among others, has demonstrated its love and commitment for the media by organizing a three-day Social Media Training for over 20 selected Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Media Entrepreneurs, Online Publishers in Lagos.

The training which is tailored to boost how ICT Media Entrepreneurs, Online Publishers could optimize the use of social media apps and tools, among others to grow their online businesses and earn sustainable income.

Declaring the Social Media Training open on Monday, the Chairman of Zinox Group, Dr. Leo Stan Ekeh harped on the pivotal role over the years played by the ICT media in advancing Nigeria’s ICT ecosystem and its stakeholders, including the Zinox Group itself, adding that the initiative is a gesture of appreciation and a way of giving back to the ICT media.

Dr. Ekeh lauded the media’s contributions and reiterated his commitment to see them improve, scale their business trajectory as well as maximise profit for their organisations.

The media training sessions were facilitated by resource persons from Zinox Group—Ayobami Agbedi, Executive Director, Corporate Affairs and Marketing, Zinox Group, Mark Darlington Ibeleme, Head of Marketing; and Chimezie Orisakwe, Head, Corporate and Marketing.

Participants were exposed graphically to emerging social media developments, brand alignment, content essentials, pay media, social media, analytics, social media algorithm, the use of AI, future forecasts, content amplification, diversification strategies, and methods of monetising digital content, with practical examples and case studies from experts as well.

Speaking on behalf of the ICT media entrepreneurs and publishers,Mr. Ken Ugbeche, Publisher of Politicaleconomist.com.ng  expressed gratitude to the Zinox Group for the training.

Ugbeche acknowledged that Dr. Ekeh and his company have dependably shown appreciation to the ICT media over the years, adding that the three-day training is another demonstration of the Group’s commitment to empowering the ICT media professionals.

He urged other industry players who have benefitted from the media reportage and advocacy to emulate Zinox’s example.
