Goronyo Felicitates With Muslim Ummah, Joins Sokoto Leaders For Eid-El-Kabir Prayers

The Honourable Minister of State for Works, Rt. Hon. Bello Muhammad Goronyo, Esq., joined His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Sokoto State, Dr. Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto, alongside the Deputy Governor of Sokoto State, Alhaji Idris Mohammed Gobir; the Sultan of Sokoto, His Eminence Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar III; Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko; and other prominent leaders and citizens of Sokoto State on 27th May, 2026, at the Eid-el-Kabir prayer ground in Sokoto
A statement signed by Abdullahi Mohammed, SA Media to the Honourable Minister of State for Works, noted that following the observance of the two Raka’at Eid prayers, the Honourable Minister exchanged warm greetings and goodwill messages with political leaders, traditional rulers, religious scholars, and members of the public, reflecting the spirit of sacrifice, unity, peace, and compassion associated with the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
Rt. Hon. Bello Muhammad Goronyo, Esq., used the occasion to reaffirm his commitment to supporting the developmental vision and Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, particularly in advancing road infrastructure and national development across the country.
The Minister emphasized the need for Nigerians to continue promoting peaceful coexistence, tolerance, and national unity, while also praying for sustained peace, progress, and prosperity in Sokoto State and Nigeria at large.
He further called on citizens to uphold the values of sacrifice, obedience, and love for one another, as exemplified by the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
