Rite Foods Celebrates Mothers, Commends Women’s Role In Nation Building

Rite Foods Limited has celebrated this year’s Mother’s Day by recognising the strength, resilience and sacrifices of women and mothers whose contributions continue to shape families, workplaces and communities across Nigeria.
The company said, the celebration was aimed at honouring women who continue to play critical roles in nurturing homes, supporting economic growth and driving national development despite increasing social and economic pressures.
Rite Foods also commended female employees within its workforce for balancing professional responsibilities with motherhood, describing them as a source of inspiration and excellence within the organisation.
Speaking on the occasion, the managing director and chief executive officer of Rite Foods, Seleem Adegunwa, described mothers as one of society’s strongest pillars whose influence extends across generations.
Adegunwa said “Mothers embody strength, selflessness, resilience and love. They are builders of families, shapers of values and drivers of progress.”
He noted that women continue to make invaluable contributions both at home and in the workplace, adding that their dedication and sacrifices deserve recognition and appreciation.

Also speaking, the head of Corporate Affairs and Sustainability at Rite Foods, Ekuma Eze, commended the resilience and commitment of women within and outside the organisation.
Eze described women as the backbone of families and a major force in community development and nation-building.
